Hearts of Hope’s Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) is a non-profit agency dedicated to lessening the trauma experienced by child victims of sexual abuse, severe physical abuse, and crisis-related trauma. The CAC’s mission is to put children first, offer services that are inclusive while offering respect, dignity and transparency to our clients. All of our services are provided by staff that are trained in trauma-informed and evidence-based practices. The CAC offers forensic interviews on behalf of law enforcement and DCFS. From there, other services are provided to aid in the healing process such as advocacy, court prep/accompaniment, case coordination and therapy. These services are available in Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermillion parishes.
